DeRay Davis Detroit Concert reviews
Night of Laughter
I laughed from beginning to end. This is my second year supporting DeRay Davis' comedy show and I have NO regrets. Luckily, I went on a night where all the comedians were present because all of them were funny in there own way. DeRay is a great comedian as well as host. Jess the Hilarious has come a long way. Gary Owen has always been funny. Mike Blackson is ugly( he knows it) but his comedy helps him. Lol! The funniest of the night, my opinion, was Lil Duval! His head is bigger than his body and he is a midget but he is funny as hell and has RAW talent. I was on the floor DYING! I REALLY enjoyed my night and look forward to next year supporting DeRay's Comedy Show...
Loved that all tickets were same price
We loved that tickets were all the same price!
It was a beautiful theater and we were excited to see DeRay's act. However...past events at the Wilbur, I sat on the first level.
My seat was front row of the balcony (105). Surprisingly, I had a bad reaction to the heights. After baby-stepping to my seat, I could not force myself to stay for the start of the show. I have been to several local shows in similar types of buildings and sat in balcony seats. However, this seemed to be a steeper pitch. I will remember this for future shows.
Luckily, we were able to find a DeRay Davis special back at the hotel. :-) I just wish someone else could have used our tickets and enjoyed the show. I am sure it was great.
Can't leave a review without a rating: from what I heard and I expect it would have been an awesome show.
